Rosie Caldwell - Office Manager​​
Minister Rosie Caldwell, originally from Ohio, moved to Rogers Road in early 2000. Rose attended community college in Ohio, where she majored in business.
She began working together with her husband David on social justice causes in their neighborhood. She retired from the State of North Carolina Department of Commerce in 2014.

Robert Campbell -
RENA President
Minister Robert Campbell moved to Rogers Road in the early 1970's just as the landfill was beginning. He and his wife helped start Faith Tabernacle Oasis of Love International Church. Minister Campbell grew up in the neighboring Northside community, but remembers visiting friends in Rogers Road throughout his youth. He left Chapel Hill to join the Navy in 1969 and was involved in Vietnam.
After his service he returned to Chapel Hill and has been entrenched in issues of social justice around the community. In addition to being President of RENA, Minister Campbell is also President of the Chapel Hill–Carrboro (Orange County) chapter of the NAACP.
David Caldwell - Project Director​
David grew up in Rogers Road and has fond memories of his home. David left the area when he joined the army. During service, his unit participated in security for presidential inaugurations.
He spent time in Germany with the army and saw combat in Grenada. After returning to the area in 1985, he joined the Sheriff's Department. In 2008, he retired as a lieutenant to pursue full-time work in social justice causes in his community and state.
Jamesha Cannon-Phillips - Office Assistant/volunteer
JaMesha Cannon Phillips, has worked with the community center for the last nine years. JaMesha has worked with North Carolina Environmental Justice Network. She has worked with the community clean ups and volunteered at the Rogers Road Community House. JaMesha has been a camp leader for the summer enrichment programs at RENA. She is also a notary Public; she charges $7 a stamp. She's a great addition to our volunteer staff!

Quiana Phillips - Office Assistant/volunteer
Quiana Phillips- Office assistant/ volunteer.
Quiana is a 4 time graduate from Miller- Motte College with 1 Degree in Allied Health Science 1 Degree for Medical Asst, 1 diploma for Medical Office Asst, 1 certificate for cosmetology.
Quiana is a current employee of the CHCCS district,and she is currently a Rogers Rd resident. Quiana is the back up to every program that runs here at the community center. With her jump in and go to it attitude, any projects that we have Quiana makes sures she is here to lend a helping hand. Some call her the back up plan to whatever is going on, but we call her staff.

Karen Reid - Education & Curriculum Manager
Karen Reid is a graduate of North Carolina Central University, in Durham, North Carolina. Mrs. Reid is a member of the Rogers Road Community.
She is also a retiree from the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School system and is our Educational Coordinator.
She helped create the educational curriculum for the students who attend the RENA Center and serves as an educational consultant as well.
